Ready, Set, Write!

Once you’ve got your head around how the Reclaimers Online network works, then you’re ready to start writing! If you don’t have a computer at home, or you have limited access to the internet, you might even like to write out your Post on some paper first, and then bring it along with you. If you do have a computer at home, you might like to type up your Post first, in say a text document or Word document, before you go online. That way, while you’re learning to use the website, you don’t have to think about too much all at once.

Ready To Publish Online

Once you’ve written out your Post offline, then you’re ready to publish it on the website! The Reclaimers Online network uses blogging software called WordPress, and this is what you will use to publish your Posts. To use WordPress, you need to contact support@reclaimersonline.com so that a WordPress account can be created for you. (If you don’t already have an email account, you’ll need to create one first. If this is a problem, speak to Charles at the workshop). Don’t worry – we will also provide additional contact details for phone support, to step you through using WordPress for the first time.

Once your account is setup, if you have any questions about how to use the website, or how to start writing your blog Post, or any other questions, please contact help@reclaimersonline.com.

This will be a learning process for all of us – but hopefully it will be a fun process too! Looking forward to reading everyone’s Posts!

Happy writing!

~ Johanna
